Andrea Slye serves as the ANR - Horticulture Extension Agent in the city of Suffolk. Andrea earned both a B.S. in Horticulture with a concentration in Landscape Contracting and a M.S. in Plant Science and Pest Management from Virginia Tech. She has spent her horticulture career in the Tidewater region. Andrea has experience in retail and wholesale nursery sales, public grounds maintenance, landscape design, greenhouse production, and horticulture education. She is a licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator and VFGA Certified Greenhouse Operator.
