Pesticide Certification Preparation Course

March 17-19, 2025 from 9:00am-4:30pm at the Norview COmmunity Center, 6380 Sewells Point Rd., Norfolk, VA 23513

This training is being offered as a review of the Virginia Core Manual: Applying Pesticides Correctly in preparation for certification testing for Registered Technician and Commercial Applicator Core. This is not a recertification course for those already licensed.

In-Person Private Pesticide Recertification

December 12, 2024, 9:00am-12:30pm, Tidewater Agricultural Research & Extension Center, 6321 Holland Rd., Suffolk

*You can also recertify at many of the locally-offered production meetings in January through March. Find out more about these meetings here.

If you do not recertify by December 31, there is a 60-day grace period in which you can still attend a recertification and renew your license. Otherwise, you will have to retest to obtain a valid applicator license. Testing can be done in your local VCE Office by appointment or through DMV, online, or with a VDACS investigator.
