Volunteers Screening Guidelines

Effective October 1, 2015, Suffolk VCE 4-H volunteers will undergo background screening through our new vendor, PreSearch Background Services. Volunteer screening supports the process of educating volunteer applicants about Virginia Cooperative Extension programs and creates the opportunity to allow faculty and staff to learn more about the interests of the volunteer applicant. The screening process also helps to protect the well-being of Virginia Cooperative Extension programs, its participants, and volunteers. Please note that there is a $9.95 processing fee for the background screening. 2017 Suffolk Master Gardeners Class Information

The Suffolk Master Gardeners Association training classes will resume Fall 2017 (September through November), and will be held during the day this year! If you wish to receive more information regarding the upcoming training classes, volunteer opportunities, or would like general information about the Master Gardener Program, please feel free to contact our Master Gardener Coordinator, Mrs. Wanda Gerard,  at 757-514-4335 on Monday's between the hours of 9:00am-2:00pm.   

2017-2018 4-H Online Enrollment Information

It's almost that time of year again! Those who are interested in participating and/or volunteering in one (or more) of the Suffolk 4-H Community Clubs, can enroll online by visiting the 4-H Online website at https://va.4honline.com.
